Many here will know the procedure.
Alas, I re-disvovered a write up on a backup volume from 2013
to assist someone in writing a HD floppy for an old Macintosh.
In some cases, such a procedure may still be needed for moving files to vintage Macs,
where no other easy way of file transfer is available.
Creating a bootable floppy from a disk image is another possible task.
Needless to say, some USB floppy drive is needed connected to your modern Mac.
800k or 400k floppies can not be written this way, as common USB floppy drives do not handle variable rotation speeds, for instance.
